I'm a Ph.D. student at Mila Quebec AI Institute and Concordia University. During the next years, I will work on Distributed Learning advised by Eugene Belilovsky and Edouard Oyallon.
My previous research experience is in Federated Learning for computer vision tasks. I studied how seeking flat minima from the server's perspective can improve generalization and reduce communication requirements in federated scenarios. I researched this topic for my Master's thesis and as a research assistant at the Vandal Lab @ PoliTO under the supervision of Barbara Caputo, Marco Ciccone, and Debora Caldarola.
Previously, I worked in Sense Reply on the development of Charging Point Management Systems for EVs and a NLP-based ticketing management solution. I also interned in Nova Stark developing a solution to monitor and improve the wine aging process, a perfect first position for someone coming from Alba 🏠
